Gifsicle manual6/20/2023 ![]() Can you confirm that you are not relying on the defaults for QUALITY and WEBP_QUALITY and have those lines uncommented in the config? If so I suspect that webp is broken on serverless-image-handler which would be a critical issue for anyone using the AUTO_WEBP feature to optimize for web. Only by going to ubuntu and explicitly uncommenting QUALITY and WEBP_QUALITY lines could I get webp working (but I have to say I don't know if uncommenting the lines on aws linux would have properly enabled webp encoding). The simplest way to create an animation is to give more than one input file, which gifsicle will combine to create a ''flipbook'' animation: gifsicle pic1.gif pic2.gif pic3.gif > animation. Depending on command line options, it can merge several GIFs into a GIF animation explode an animation into its component frames change individual frames in an animation turn interlacing on and off add transparency and much more. Click the Manual link in the Plugin Status. ![]() When I tried my own manual ec2 amazon linux thumbor install, I could not get webp working in the same way ( issue). gifsicle is good at creating and manipulating GIF animations. gifsicle manipulates GIF image files in many different ways. Pre-compiled binaries/executables are provided for optipng, gifsicle, pngquant, cwebp, and jpegtran. It appears as if the webp encoding is not being properly applied or it would be much smaller than jpeg. The quality is really something bad, in my thumbor config i have kept everything on 100 and still get this backĪlso thank you for all your help with Gifsicle Image uploaded on Behance and their optimizer does this The quality of the images degrade like crazy Seems like Gifsicle is working but there are few other issues which will be out of scope here I guess but just mentioning here There are few issues which i am working on Making a GIF animation with gifsicle is easy: gifsicle -delay10 -loop. gifsicle -U -disposalprevious -transparent'ffffff' -O2 anim.gif > animtrans.gif where anim.gif and animtrans.gif are the source and destination file names, and ffffff is the hex code of the color you want to make transparent (here, pure white). Have fixed it had to make changes as the build script kept breaking, pip updated was breaking stuff I have forked this project and made changes, you can have a look here You can do this with GIFsicle, using the following options.
